Fishing ice-bores have been manufactured by the joint-stock company «TONAR PLUS» since 1999. At present four diameters of bores are represented – 100, 130, 150 and 180 mm.
Classical ice-bores are the most popular models among fishermen.
The upper handle of two-handled ice-bore is displaced from the ice bore’s axis in 130 mm, the lower in 150 mm.
Such a position of handles makes it possible to turn the ice-bore simultaneously by both hands, thus increasing the speed of boring holes in ice.
The main distinction of telescopic ice-bores is installed telescopic extension bar, which allows setting up the depth of boring according to the thickness of ice.
The basic innovation of sport ice-bore is essentially increased length of stem and the number of screw rings. With the help of such bore one can make holes to 800 mm in depth without getting the ice-bore out of ice, the maximum boring depth is 1100 mm. Also the company produces two- handled modification of sport ice-bore.
Original design and technological ideas contributed to creations of the ice-bores suitable for any condition of fishing (the construction of ice-bore is defended by three patents of the Russian Federation). High speed of boring, minimum effort in combination with remarkable reliability and strength determined the choice of hundreds of fishermen in Russia in favour of Barnaul ice-bore.
